And maybe don't tell people that you made them with beans, they don't need to know, all they will think is that they are eating something good. I was also thinking that these would make for a fantastic Super Bowl party snack, you know, brownies and protein. (You can use cocoa instead, but then you are going to miss out on the awesomeness of carob and be left with a plain old normal black bean brownie) It's kind of like chocolate, but more fruity, sweet, not bitter, and caffeine free, while still containing all the good health benefits as chocolate. If you have never tried carob, it's a must. Carob is neither too expensive or hard to find, but I couldn't find the really expensive stuff that I was looking for so I grabbed a bag of carob powder. Ingredients sunflower oil, for greasing 2 x 400g cans black beans, drained 1 tbsp vanilla extract 6 large eggs 200g soft butter, chopped 200g light. Well one of the things I always do for my birthday is to buy a new ingredient of some sort that I wouldn't normally buy because it's either too expensive or is hard to find. (I think that is perfectly acceptable) And the carob. If you're wanting to join me on the black bean brownie bandwagon you should also try these S'mores Cakey Black Bean Brownies, Microwave Mug Double Chocolate Brownies or simple Chocolate Brownies that use no refined sugar.Don't let the fact that these rich, fudgy, soft, oh so yummy brownies that have beans in them scare you away, it just means that you can eat more, you know, like half a pan, and not think twice about it. It's the most hilarious guessing game! No one would ever say "black beans?" By appearance you think they’re a normal brownies, but trust me when I tell you they’re so much more. Whenever I make these no one can tell the secret ingredient that makes them so moist and rich. The best part of this decadent marriage is that they're good for you too. 800g tinned black beans, drained and dried 110g coconut oil cuisine 100g coconut palm sugar 170g maple agave syrup 65g cocoa powder, sifted 1 tsp baking. Grind the flax seeds in a food processor or use store-bought ground flax seeds.

I can easily be swayed to down a bowl of black beans and rice as long as I know there’s anything chocolate at the end as it’s my total weakness! If this is the way that I’m wired I can’t imagine I’m the only one. Stir cup of the chocolate chips into the batter and pour into a lightly oiled or parchment lined baking dish. Is it possible to have two totally polar opposite foods in one bite? Something so good for you packed with vegetarian protein and another much more naughty and irresistable like chocolate.
